We are looking for a Sales Operations Director to provide comprehensive visibility into EAGLE commercial activities. Success in this role will be providing management with continuous visibility into the efficacy of commercial sales processes and commercial team members, providing insight into company-level, team-level and rep-level KPIs. The Sales Operations Director will also manage our CRM data, generate relevant reports as needed by senior management and continue to drive the evolution of our CRM systems (and associated technologies). As we continue to scale our business, the Sales Operations Director will play a key role in our Business Development & Strategy team. 

Experience with technology through the use of Salesforce/VEEVA tools to optimize sales processes and to ensure compliance is critical. In addition, driving efficiency is a key aspect to this role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead the administration of EAGLE Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and associated tools, including continued support, development and improvement, as well as integration into company’s business processes and managing company user base 
  • Build weekly and monthly reports to provide senior management with data-driven insights on sales and marketing activities, ranging from a detailed understanding of the company’s pipeline funnel to rep-level reports on pipeline, funnel, and expected revenue. 
  • Provide an interface for our finance and product teams into company sales/marketing activities. 
  • Provide rep-level insights to inform sales compensation plans and commissions. 
  • Build takeaways from customer interaction data to drive effectiveness of the business development team. 
  • Train our commercial team on the use of Salesforce/VEEVA and other sales tools. 
  • Manage inbound leads from marketing activities to the appropriate commercial team member for appropriate follow-up. 
  • Provide support to commercial development team as needed during preparation of client proposals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

A minimum of 5 years of Operational/Sales Support Experience, Pharmaceutical preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong understanding of data flow and system interfaces
  • System Support and application knowledge of Sales Operations Systems
  • Prior application support experience with an emphasis on customer service, system interface and administrative workflow required
  • Prior experience implementing, configuring and supporting Veeva CRM and/or Veeva Events
  • Vendor Management/System Integrator Experience
  • Strong Project Management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and MS office capabilities
  • Ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to ensure compliance in all situations
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and constantly changing priorities
  • Commitment to company values and an ability to deal with sensitive data
  • Experience in supporting/managing enterprise software sales, especially building and implementing a variety of sales and business processes, is strongly desired. 
  • Strong presentation skills as well as strong oral/written communication skills are a must. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, serving stakeholders from a broad range of business areas and across multiple geographies. 
  • Knowledge of life sciences industry is a plus 
  • Provide Compliance and Monitoring Reporting as necessary
  • Demonstrate proficiency with internal Operational Systems
  • Performs related duties as requested.
  • Possibility of occasional travel (10%).
